THE AIM OF THE BRUSH CUTTER STRIMMER & RIDE ON LAWNMOWER TRAINING COURSE:
Provide the candidate with the knowledge and various practical skills involved with the use of Brush Cutter / Strimmer and Ride on Lawnmowers.
THE COURSE OBJECTIVE:
Brush Cutter Strimmer & Ride On Lawnmower Training Course enables delegates to safely operate Brush Cutters / Strimmer’s & Ride on Lawnmowers. To carry out the pre-start & stop checks prior to use. To update candidate’s basic knowledge of health and safety awareness and to work at a significantly lower risk to themselves, to others and to understand safe work practices.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
The course is designed for delegates who are currently operating or going to be operating Brush Cutters / Strimmer’s and Ride on Lawnmowers. Can be tailored to suit company requirements.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates do not require any previous experience but must be able to certify that they are physically fit and have no medical conditions that might prevent them from attending this course. Delegates should be able to write and speak in English. Safety equipment will be supplied by your trainer.
COURSE SUMMARY:
Candidates will participate in theory lessons and practical demonstrations / exercises, all of which are highlighted by the use of Video Presentations covering:
- The Health & Safety at Work Act
- Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations
- Other current regulations
- Accident Reporting Systems
- Defect Report Systems
- Personal Protective Equipment regulations
- Safe use and operation of Brush cutter / Strimmer’s & Ride on Lawnmowers
- Site Safety (ground conditions)
- Practical & Written exercises
CERTIFICATION:
Card & Certificate of Competence, valid for 3 years before renewal.
